Jaws The Shark is the solo project of dynamic artist Olly Bailey.

Receiving significant support from BBC Radio 6, BBC Radio 1, and Radio X, as well as prominent playlists on Spotify and Amazon Music, Jaws The Shark quickly gained attention and excitement from a larger audience. In 2022, Bailey released his debut EP, ‘Another Day In Paradise,’ through tastemaker label Nice Swan Records, showcasing impressive songwriting skills and infectious melodies.

Signing with So Recordings for his follow-up, Jaws The Shark collaborated with Alt Rock heroes Dinosaur Pile-Up for the single ‘Destroy The World,’ solidifying his status as one to watch. The self-titled 4-track EP featured a refined sound and captivating melodies, leaving fans and critics eager for more.

In November 2023, Jaws The Shark unveiled ‘Cream,’ a 5-track EP recorded at the esteemed Vada recording studios. The release garnered acclaim from BBC introducing and received airplay from influential BBC Radio 1 presenters, including Jack Saunders, Dan P Carter, Nels Hilton, and Alyx Holcombe, as well as spots on key Spotify playlists The Punk List and The Rock List.

With the release of the debut album in 2024, Jaws The Shark is set to make a lasting impact on the music industry, cementing his position as one of the fastest rising stars of the future.
