The story of First Time Flyers begins with four best friends who share a passion for music and a wealth of experience performing on some of the world’s most renowned stages. Tim Prottey-Jones, Vicki Manser, Jake Morrell, and Poppy Fardell each brought their unique talents and backgrounds to the table, setting the stage for something exceptional and they have an undeniable ear for feel-good melodies, wrapped in the warmth of 4-part harmony.

Their debut at the C2C Festival in 2023 was met with rave reviews, setting the stage for a successful inaugural year that included a sold-out UK headline tour, festival appearances, and even a coveted opening slot for Bruce Springsteen at BST Hyde Park.

2024 was a busy year, bringing their live show to audiences across the UK including some high-profile festival appearances. In addition to a busy live schedule the band have a slate of new releases planned having spent time writing with some of Nashville’s top songwriters including Jeff Cohen (Sugarland, The Shires), Steve Diamond (Lonestar, Faith Hill) & Fred Wilhelm (Rascal Flatts, Little Big Town). August 2024 saw them on the Radio 2 playlist for 4 weeks.

First Time Flyers are the epitome of band mates. Long-time friends & collaborators, their energy, personalities & connection come from a safe place of feeling comfortable in each other’s company & they always bring that rapport to the stage, welcoming audiences & media to their inner circle.
