Indie supergroup Y will be releasing their debut EP with SO Recordings & Hideous Mink in April 2025. With their hotly anticipatted first single set for release end of January. The supergroup is made up of members from or involved with Fat White Family, Warmduscher, Insecure Men, Meatraffle, Pregoblin, Scud FM.

Emerging from the creative crucible of London, Y is a genre-defying band founded by Adam Brennan (Fat White Family) and Sophie Coppin during a period of isolation. The duo discovered an uncanny synergy in their music-making, blending shared tastes with contrasting stylistic approaches. This paradox birthed the eclectic, unpredictable sound that defines Y—playfully described as “wonk rock,” “Gameboy thrash,” and even “Egyptian wedding music.”
